Owner of Bine Bar & Dining Scott Imlach and chef Jon Hizola have teamed up with manager Toby Young to bring Asian street food to the Gold Coast.

Located on the outskirts of Broadbeach, Hideaway Kitchen & Bar is one of the Gold Coast’s new culinary sensations - an exciting new venue for evening drinks and mouth-watering food.

With over 20 years' experience in the hospitality industry, Scott has managed bars and restaurants in the UK and on the Gold Coast. He is the former owner of Freshly Stacked, Barchino and Nobby's Arc to name a few. He is the current owner of the successful Bine Bar & Dining at Nobby's Beach.

Scott has travelled to the Asian continent several times where he developed a love for Asia's street food. Hideaway has become somewhat of a dream come true.

Scott’s business partner Jon manages the kitchen side of things. His extensive experience proves impressive - Jon has worked for leading Asian restaurants such as Nobu in Sydney, has taken on head chef roles in Perth and on the Gold Coast and has worked as a Chef de Partie in Florida - USA.

Jon brings excitement to Hideaway Kitchen & Bar with an Asian background and a shared passion for its culture and cuisine.

Having worked alongside Scott in the past, Toby Young has now become the manager of Hideaway Kitchen & Bar.

Toby made the move from the UK to Australia in 2013 where he became the manager of Nobby’s Arc. He returned to the UK and managed Spoke & Stringer before making the move back to the Gold Coast where he worked as manager of Bine Bar & Dining.
